Open-format DJ and producer. Twenty years of Chicago rooms, from River North clubs to the room I play every Friday now. I also shoot the nights I play — so you can book the music and the recap from one person.
Every flyer above is a night actually played — Wicker Park, River North and the western suburbs, 2013 to now. Browse the archive.
What you’re booking
I started on the other side of this business, promoting nightclub events before I ever touched a deck. That taught me the part most DJs never learn: a full floor and an empty one are two different jobs, and the music is only half of either.
No set prepared in advance. Open format means I can’t hide behind one genre — I watch what the floor is doing and go where it wants to go.
EDM, hip-hop, house, Top 40, throwbacks, Latin, Jersey club. Twenty years of catalogue means a room of mixed ages doesn’t lose anybody.
Introductions, timeline calls, announcements. Clear and brief. Your event is not my set.
Classic videos and throwback visuals mixed live. On the right room it changes the whole night.
Rooms played
Also: On The Rocks (Berwyn), Happy Tapper (Northlake), Vain, Wet, Martini Ranch.

Technical info →Coverage of the event I’m playing, shot by me. One vendor instead of two, and the recap lands in days rather than weeks.

Fitz’s Pub, 172 N. Addison Ave, Elmhurst. Doors from 9:30, no cover. Hosted with Astro Coleman Entertainment. If you want to hear me before you book me, this is the room.
The difference
I’ve been shooting photo and video as long as I’ve been DJing. Most DJs need somebody else to make them look good. I don’t — and neither do the people who book me.
Your photographer usually leaves before the floor gets going. I’m there until close, and I know what the night is supposed to look like because I’m the one building it. Coverage can be added to any booking.
